We start by adding a grid line to keep
0:02
track of the target position. We select
0:05
the one in the middle in the camera tab
0:07
of the settings. We activate waypoint
0:10
mode by tapping on the icon on the left
0:12
of the screen. We close the window by
0:14
tapping on the small arrow on the left
0:16
to get a better view of the scene. Move
0:19
closer to the target and frame it for
0:22
the beginning of the move. We then open
0:24
the window and hit the plus sign to set
0:26
the first point.
0:29
Then we move backward to where we want
0:31
the second and final point.
0:35
Using the wheel of the remote
0:36
controller, we zoom in until the target
0:39
fits on the grid line in a similar
0:41
position to the first point.
0:45
We hit the plus sign again to set the
0:47
second point.
0:51
We can then select the speed of the
0:53
move.
0:56
I choose 7.5 m/s and I like the results,
1:02
but I find that the resulting clip is a
1:05
bit too short.
1:08
This time I try on a different scene.
1:11
Starting again close to the target, but
1:13
this time I move backwards for more than
1:16
100 m.
1:24
I can slightly increase the speed of the
1:26
move up to 9 m/s.
1:31
Another advantage of waypoint is that
1:33
each mission can be stored in memory
1:36
which is useful for performing the same
1:38
vertigo effect at other speeds or in
1:41
different light conditions.
